michelle b.’s fascination with cork began with a surprise trip to Portugal, after her successful battle with leukemia and subsequent recovery from a bone marrow transplant. She immediately fell in love with accessories made of cork and quickly became obsessed with this amazing, natural resource.

Michelle is a vegetarian, an animal lover, and a believer that we should all take steps towards reducing our environmental footprint and preserving our precious resources.

She lives in New York City with her husband, two sons, and her rescue dog.
